Draw Home Buyer Web Traffic Like Bears to Honey

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

So the saying goes, results speak louder than words, right?  How about a picture is worth a thousand words?  That being said I’m ready to share my results with you as I promised on an earlier post.  But whoa…. hold now, not so fast.

Let’s lay the ground work out first.  I could show you several actual test results recently conducted including “Lender, Broker Price Opinion and REO Buyer”, “Broker Price Opinion”, “Drawing Web Traffic Like Bears To Honey”, “Broker Price Opinion and REO”, “Search Engine Optimized Software” and “Top Selling Products Reviewed” from my blog posts but for this article I’m just going to use just one example.

I’m going to try and keep this simple so you can understand the significance of the results I obtained and how I could do the same for you if you’re interested.

Here’s how it goes.  One thing these days all real estate agents must have is a web site, right?  Let’s take, as an example, your city as a targeted marketplace.  What if we create a single web page to gather a name and email address from buyers looking to buy a home in your city?

Once you have that information they are directed instantly to your website.  In the mean time you have an email going out to them automatically thanking them for visiting your website and maybe providing them some additional information about you.

OK, you now have a lead, right?  But how did you get that lead?  Well, here’s the short of it.  You use a blog that you set up, but it’s not an ordinary one, and you social bookmark it to send the traffic to the opt in page and then they end up at your website.  This is not just any old blog, this a search engine optimized blog.  It’s kind of a super charged blog, if you will.

Well, how well does this system work you ask?  In my next post I’ll show you a result from a recent test I conducted.  Keep in mind this system will work to optimize any online business by drawing more traffic to them!

Until next time…..

Mike Heckendorf

Draw Web Traffic Like Bears to Honey, Aritcle #3

Friday, January 8th, 2010

Because I’m having so much fun sharing with you my learning process on “affiliate marketing” through my “World’s Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” site and “search engine optimization” I thought I would continue by extending this article posting series.

Now let’s see, I left off by telling you about my avalanche of page requests after installing the “seo software free application on my “World’s Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” site. (“seo” of course is short for “search engine optimization”).  And remember now you can get access to have your own free download of this plug in application by clicking on it in the blogroll link, titled, “FREE SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION SOFTWARE” on the right side margin of the front page which you can get to by clicking here

Ok, so now I’m wondering how well my “seo software free” application is working for my “World’s Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” site.  Well today I did a Google search for the “World’s Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” and out of 54,100,000 possibilities my site came up number 2 on the 1st page.  Pretty incredible wouldn’t you say?

Contained within my host program I have a stats tracking program like no other that gives me what seems like a gazillion tables, graphs and charts of all sorts of really wonderfully boring information except for one I really like. It’s the Hourly Summary for the “World’s Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” site. Take a guess at which hour of the day I receive the most page requests? The 13th hour, (1:00PM) is that crazy or what?  Guess what days.  If you said Tuesday and Saturday you were right.  Now I can understand Saturday but Tuesday?

Let me give you a run down on what is actually in my eighteen page report that tracks the “Worlds Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” site.  I’m just going to rattle them off per report topic, General Summary, Monthly, Daily Summary, Hourly Summary, Domain, Organization, Redirected Referrer, Failed Referrer, Referring Site, Search Word, Browser, Operating System, Status Code, File Size, File Type, Directory and finally the Request Report.

Here’s something else I discovered.  I learned that there were 6 times more folks searching the web for the “Worlds Greatest” than for the “World’s Greatest” so you know what I did?  You guessed it I went back and changed from “World’s Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed” to “Worlds Greatest Top Selling Products Reviewed”.  Now I’m curios to see in the next few days what stats I come up with for search and page request numbers.

Alright, enough for today.  Please see the other previous related posts and leave me a comment below on know how you’re enjoying this series of posts.  Just click on the comment link below.  Thank you!

Draw Web Traffic Like Bears to Honey

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Have you ever wondered how or why the “search results” are the way they are?  Me neither!  But bare with me as I enlighten you from a novice perspective.

I wanted to enter into the “affiliate internet marketing” field so I began my search on Google.  Wow, is there a lot to learn or what?  Anyway after much searching and reviewing the ins and outs of “affiliate marketing” as well as receiving some excellent tips from some of the top people in the know I came across a site that really rocked my enthusiasm.  Get this, the product is “FREE”!  OK, yes, there are options to upgrade but what this “FREE” product will do is just short of amazing.

Have you ever heard of “search engine optimization” or “SEO” for short, before?  Well I hadn’t either!  Words like spiders, crawlers, key words, tags, meta tags, html, code, drive traffic,…..ect. was a whole new world for me.  Sounded to me like we were in the garden trying to keep the bugs out, identifying and marking plants and preventing pets from trampling through it.

Now keep in mind I had no idea what any of this had to do with “affiliate marketing”.   All I new was that after setting up my review site topsellingreviews.com which provides comprehensive reviews by experts and consumers on many of the top selling products sold online I knew I needed to attract online traffic to the site.

Stay tuned because on my next post I’ll continue to take you on my journey to find out more about affiliate marketing and how I got “seo software free”.

Oh yea, I almost forgot, if you can’t wait for me to reveal the absolutely “FREE” “search engine optimization” product you can find the link over on the right side under Blogroll.
